Part 1: Trio On Bell

Trio on Bell was written as an experiment with multiple points of view. The narrative action is firmly placed in the inner-northern suburbs of Melbourne.

We’ll publish parts 2 and 3 over the next few days. Let us know what you think…

At Sea

 At Sea
Sun kissed
             your lips
Sun kissed
             your hair on my cheek
Sun kissed
             and salty,
                           your skin

Your skin      kissing my lips
Your eyes     kissing my lips
Your fingertips
                   kissing my lips

Your lips
Sun kissed

Deep Water

kosmos  macros  chronos  paradoksos

AQUA PROFONDA
              it says at the bottom
of the Fitzroy swimming pool

AQUA PROFONDA
              among the tanned, buffed bodies
and perfect showroom toddlers

But we are all in deep water
              feet treading
with nothing solid around us

aqua profunda – as I float in the liminal depths of my mind
              fishing in deep water
                                      for subliminal giant squid
                                                                        — The Kraken —
waiting to awake    with tentacles    wrapped    round my ankles

the universe is vast our lifetime a paradox

So gently
              pull me under
              into
Aqua Profunda
